Terms of Service
Effective 2026-07-01
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by Rumi Inc ("Rumi," "we," "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
Rumi is a managed social-media content service. We generate, schedule, and publish content to your connected Instagram account on your behalf. The Service is approval-first: nothing is published until you approve it, and all publishing happens through Instagram's official APIs.
Your account and responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
- You are responsible for reviewing and approving content before it is published.
- You must have the rights necessary to publish the content and brand assets you provide.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Post spam, misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent content.
- Violate Instagram's or Meta's Platform Terms, Community Guidelines, or other applicable policies.
- Infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others.
- Engage in artificial or automated engagement, or any activity that could put an account at risk.
- Break any applicable law or regulation.
You must comply with all Instagram and Meta platform terms when using the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Content ownership and license
You own the content and brand assets you provide, and the content we produce for you and that you approve. You grant Rumi a limited, non-exclusive license to use, process, store, generate, schedule, and publish that content solely to operate and provide the Service. This license ends when the content is deleted or your account is closed, except as needed for backups or legal compliance.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee specific results, reach, or engagement, and we are not responsible for the availability or actions of Instagram, Meta, or other third-party platforms.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rumi and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required to protect the Service or comply with law. Upon termination, we will delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion instructions.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes will be the state and federal courts located in Delaware.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
