Delete your data

You can remove the data Rumi (operated by Rumi Inc) stores about you and your connected Instagram Business or Creator account at any time. There are three ways to do it:

1. Disconnect in-product

Disconnecting your Instagram account from the Rumi dashboard revokes our access and deletes the stored access tokens and account data. (This option arrives with the dashboard; until then, use one of the methods below.)

2. Email us

Email ali@rumi.team with the subject "Data deletion request" from the address associated with your account, or tell us your Instagram handle. We will confirm and delete your data within 30 days.

3. Remove the app (automatic Meta callback)

Removing Rumi from your Instagram or Facebook app settings triggers Meta's deauthorization and data-deletion callbacks. When we receive that callback we delete the stored access tokens and account data associated with your Instagram user within 30 days and return a confirmation code you can check on this page.

What gets deleted

• Instagram access tokens and connection metadata
• Profile, media, and insights data retrieved via the Meta APIs
• Content drafts and scheduling data tied to your account

Records we are legally required to retain (for example, billing records) may be kept for the period required by law, then deleted.
